Judy Heumann is Boulder County, Colorado's infant aquatics specialist. A mother of three competitive swimmers and a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin, she was first a certified WSI with the Red Cross, then began teaching drowning prevention skills to infants and young children, and since 2000, founder of Infant Aquatics , Swim-Float-Swim Aquatic Center and executive director of Infant Aquatics, LLC. In 2009 Judy began assisting Child Drowning Prevention, LLC, serving as President of the National Registry of Aquatic Instructors.
Judy loves teaching children and training instructors, and has trained dozens of instructors throughout the country who are expanding her mission of safe water enjoyment. Her team of certified instructors are passionate about teaching and demonstrate a rapport with their students that is unmatched in the field.
Judy has been and continues to be a great mentor to teams of aquatics instructors across the US and worldwide, bringing her joyous spirit, inspiration and drowning prevention efforts to the masses. Everybody loves Miss Judy!
