Instructor Calvin

Calvin Tom joined our San Diego team in 2009 and brings his love for the water to the table. His background includes firefighter training and he has a passion for all things motor driven – motorcycles, dirt bikes, jet skis, etc. As a matter of fact, his first spoken word as a baby was “wheel!” Calvin teaches the infant and toddler 4-6 week survival series as well as our Sea Monkeys Mommy and Me classes, Stingrays toddler groups and Piranha Team stroke development classes. His wit and gentle manner with children puts them at ease right away. His intuitive grasp on how best to work with your child’s unique personality is immediately evident.
